An amazing afternoon of bowls at Clevedon Bowling Club as we hosted an afternoon with the Australian Commonwealth Games Squad.   Games were held on 7 rinks including pairs, threes, fours, visually impaired and disability bowls where the Australian Squad battled against a selected team of Clevedon players.    Despite it being in the middle of a day with a severe weather warning for heat - spectators were treated to some spectacular bowls from both sides.  All games were close with both teams securing victory on different rinks.

Clevedon were honoured that Australia chose to visit them on their Commonweath journey and wish them well in the forthcoming games.
